Typography

Text must be readable within a 1–2 second glance. Use sans-serif fonts with clear letterforms and regular or medium weights.

Minimum text heights:

  • Primary information: 6–8 mm x-height.
  • Secondary information: 5–6 mm.
  • Non-critical information: 4.5 mm (only where not essential for immediate understanding).

Aside: Avoid decorative fonts, italics, or outline effects. Do not exceed one line of text for glance-critical elements (e.g. station name).
