Visual Information

Give drivers control over what visual information is shown while a station is playing. This can be offered as a global setting in the main settings menu, or as a per-station option within each station’s settings.

Provide the following options:

• No visual information
• Visual information from the radio station (default)
• Alternative visual information only if the radio station is not providing visuals
• Alternative visual information at all times

Alternative Sources of Visual Information

You must make it clear to the listener if any visual information presented to them is not from the currently selected radio station. You must not lead listeners to believe that the alternative visual information is being provided by the radio station. For this reason, we recommend that the default for this option is “Visual Information from Radio Stations”, until the user changes to it something else
